Ulcer

Definition
  • An ulcer is a general morphological pattern of inflammation , whether acute or chronic, that occur on epithelia. Ulcers result from erosion of any type of epithelium, thus exposing the underlying tissue which becomes heavily inflamed in either an acute or chronic pattern.
